Thank God Rush is Wrong again - the US Economy, the American workers and  the country are not failing as he hoped we would.  Gee - Sorry Rush, things are better.
Don't RUSH me to Failure ! 
Right now, more than ever, Americans need to work together to help our nation pull out of the economic struggle that we are in.  We need political leaders who can work together and solve our very serious issues.  Both parties need to stop the divisive name calling and blame game and just grow up and be the leaders they were elected to be.

Sadly many folks, including talk radio shows such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck, say they want the President of the United States to fail - to me, that means they want America to fail...Sunday, March 8, 2009 on "Meet the Press", Newt Gingritch said that no rational person would want the President to fail because that would mean they want America to Fail.

Do these Americans really want the President's Policy to fail?
President Obama has initiated policies with the goal of increasing American jobs and lowering unemployment....so if you want him to fail - do you want unemployment to increase?
President Obama has initiated policies to increase home sales and get our homes values increasing again....so if you want him to fail - do you want home values to continue downward and sales to stay low?
President Obama has initiated policies to get the stock market growing again and increase all of our 401K retirement plans....so if you want him to fail - do you want our retirement plans to continue to drop?
How Can a Rational Patriotic America Want this Failure?
Radio Shows like The Rush Limbaugh Show and The Sean Hannity Show are filling their shows with extremely negative, mean spirited rhetoric that is dividing our nation.  We need to focus on uniting all Americans to fight our common enemies rather than the name calling and blame heard on these shows.

What is "don't RUSH me.com" ?

Our mission is to unite Americans against the outright negative attacks, the blame games and the overall divisive rhetoric that is heard from politicians, columnists and on talk radio shows such at The Rush Limbaugh Show andThe Sean Hannity Show.   We must not only reject these types of political attacks, we must speak out and voice our opposition to these acts of Americans attacking Americans!!! 

The current political campaigns have become a never ending stream of blame and attacks on the opposing party.  We are seeing this with the Wall Street issues even today....both the democrats and republicans are spending too much time and effort trying to dodge any responsibility.  Both parties are so busy playing politics as usual, that the real problems are getting caught up in the same old tired game of partisanship.  We need leadership now more than ever - We need "Positive Politics for a Prosperous Nation" - now more than ever.  Please join me in voicing our call for a new approach to governing our nation.

We also reject and condemn any type of negative personal attacks on the candidates.  It is ok to disagree with policy, it is OK to point out contradictions and misleading claims - but it is NOT OK to promote mean and hateful personal attacks like we are seeing on talk radio shows.

What can you and I do to Promote a Prosperous Nation?

First, make a personal commitment that it all starts with you.  Millions of Americans complain about our broken political system or about specific politicians, yet they still sit on their rear end and do nothing.  Get involved and help us spread the message to others.  This nation was built because individual citizens took pride and took action...ACT NOW! 

We pledge to...

  1. support fresh new leadership that puts the interest of America above all else.
  2. support leaders who work together with all parties to solve our issues
  3. reject extreme partisanship that saturates right wing talk radio, our national media  and divides this country
  4. support change in Washington with less lobbyists, less pork and more emphasis on the things that will make America great again.

 

A rapidly growing number of Americans are sick and tired of all the personal attacks, name calling and negative tactics that have saturated our national politics, especially within right wing talk radio shows. It is preventing us from solving our largest issues and preventing this nation from being the prosperous country we are destined to be. Are you one of us?
