Q:  What is the basic goal of dontRUSHme (DRM) and why did you get started?

A:  I became frustrated with all the negative attacks that I was hearing in our politics and in our media.  I also realized that I needed to carve out a small niche where I felt the negative rhetoric was the most severe and doing the most damage.  I identified right wing talk radio shows like The Rush Limbaugh Show and The Sean Hannity Show as the best places to focus my efforts and that is how DRM got started.

Q:  Don't you also criticize and attack others, like Rush and Sean?

A:  I do like to point out some of the misleading stories and what negative impact I think they have on our country.  I think it is OK to disagree - actually it is imperative that we express opinions and differences.  The main differences is that these radio shows will attack the families of their opponents, make fun of the kids of the candidates, make fun of the spouses and use gross exaggerations to mislead their listeners.  I do not attack the families of these hosts in any way and I do not attack them personally about events or hardships they may be going thru.  It is OK to disagree with someone's politics in a respectful and honest manner.  These shows intentionally distort the truth and attempt to harm a person by attacking them and their families.  That is just wrong. 

Q:  There a lot of TV shows that also attack republicans, why don't you go after them also?

A:  First of all, I do not claim to be an independent.  I support Obama for President.  I have chosen to focus my efforts on a very narrow area, and that is far right wing talk radio.  I do not necessarily agree with some of the things I hear from far left hosts, but I will allow someone else to tackle that issue.  I realized I needed to keep my focus narrow in order to make it work?
